In 1997, Mark shifted from corporate leadership to consulting, establishing S6 Partners to apply his operational expertise and education to help businesses succeed. Since then, Mark has focused on developing growth strategies, including mergers & acquisitions, strategic, and organizational design.

 

He has also facilitated debt and equity capital raises, conducted business valuations, and structured numerous transactions across diverse industries.

 

Mark's expertise has led him to hold significant public positions, such as Interim CEO of the Salt Lake Chamber of, where he provided essential leadership during a crucial time. He also served as the Director of Entrepreneur Development in Governor Huntsman’s Office of Economic Development, supporting small and mid-sized and encouraging entrepreneurial growth throughout Utah.

 

Mark earned his bachelor's degree from Weber State University and a MIT Sloan Fellow, holding both a Master of Science and MBA from the Sloan School of Management at MIT. He lives in Kaysville,, with his wife, Teena. Together, they have raised four children and are proud grandparents to ten wonderful grandchildren.
